The famous route of “La Piedra en Seco” or internationally known as GR221, this route runs along the north coast of Mallorca for 91.7 km longitudinally from Puerto de Andratx (in the southwest of the island) crossing the Serra de Tramuntana, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011, to Cabo de Formentor (northeast of the island). This unique route is for hiking lovers, it is divided into 8 stages and its routes also offer several variants.
One of the stages of the GR221 route begins in Esporles via Valldemossa to Deia, there are several 4-hour variants of the route that can be done as an alternative to the full route. We recommend that you are accompanied by an official guide during hikes.
