Lovely place to stay. The hotel was a perfect place for our holiday in Deia. A short walk into the village and away from the crowds. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and with a lovely pool. The hotel was well appointed and the staff were very good.

The best is good enough! This is a beautiful hotel. We spent a happy week at the Es Moli hotel. The surroundings are beautiful made even more special by the very caring staff who did everything to make our stay a happy one. We do intend to return as this was a really relaxing holiday, the food and wines served in the hotel restaurants were all excellent. Many thanks Chris & Deborah Grant

Beautiful, elegant hotel My family and I (2 adults, 2 tweenage boys) absolutely loved our stay at Es Moli. The photos here do not do the property justice— it is even more beautiful in person. The rooms were elegantly furnished with distinctly Mallorcan touches and soft lighting. My kids loved the ping pong table, giant chess and tennis court, and we all enjoyed waking up to their delicious, fresh breakfast with a stunning view of the sea. We only stayed here for 3 nights of our 5 night Mallorca trip and I deeply regretted that we did not spend a full week here. It’s well situated for exploring other nearby charming towns and beaches (Soller is a must) and was very easy to get to (I was worried about a tortuous drive but it was straightforward). Deia is also lovely and a 5-min walk away, with more dining options and nightlife. A few negatives (though they did not impact our stay): - the pool was pretty cold, even in late August - we did not love the dinner menus of the restaurants and found them limited. Make reservations far in advance!! - check in was truly bizarrely unwelcoming and literally left me in tears. The hotel should frankly rethink front desk staffing. - there weren’t enough lounge chairs at their private beach so we had to sit on a rocky ledge - no one seemed to be taking drink/food orders at the pool. You had to walk to the pool cafe. Tip: Make reservations for their private beach weeks in advance!!!

Wonderful Hotel for a week of pure relaxation! I stayed at Es Moli at the end of August/beginning of September for a week of sheer relaxation. The holiday was booked after my sister had already spent two weeks here in July. We were greeted in the room with a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate my sisters birthday which was a lovely touch. The hotel itself is wonderful from entering the light airy reception always met with a smile by the staff who are always there to help. The hotel also has a lift which is good for people who aren’t very good with stairs. Our room was lovely we only had a small balcony due to booking at last minute and being the last room available but to be honest we were never in the room only to sleep because there are so many lovely places to sit around either by the pool or in the gardens. We ate in all 3 restaurants and the waiting staff are amazing making you feel so welcome and the food was delicious from either the pool bar, tapas restaurant or the garden restaurant. Breakfast is lovely with such a large choice of items even having a chef there to cook you delicious omelettes, pancakes etc whilst you wait and sat outside on the terrace with amazing views. We noticed a lot of the people here had been coming for many years and you can understand why. This really is a special place and we are already looking at dates for next year to return. Thank you everyone!

Relaxed traditional setting Es Moli is set in a beautifully natural but manicured garden setting high in the mountains above Deia It commands beautiful valley views over towards the Sea which is visible from most parts of the hotel and all of the 5th and 4th floor rooms On arrival the reception area is a little dated and does not do justice to the more updated rooms or indeed the professional and helpful reception staff The hotel is generally of traditional design , well maintained and decorated in traditional rather than contemporary style The whole ambience is one of relaxed charm with a huge pool in a garden setting with ample seating and sun beds although these are rapidly taken up and occupied after breakfast! The pool , restaurant and bar staff all appear to have been at the hotel for many years and it was nice to see returning guests greeted warmly Ours was a first time visit as we generally stay in more contemporary accommodation in Palma but we will definitely return as the relaxing atmosphere was a perfect tonic for our busy lives. I think the 4* rating Es Moli celebrates is well deserved and with a few decorative upgrades it could be pushing for more We thoroughly enjoyed our stay Thank you to everyone at Es Moli

Delightful, friendly stay We have just enjoyed a really lovely and peaceful few days at this friendly hotel in a beautiful setting on the outskirts of Deia. I booked directly with the hotel who were extremely helpful both before and during our stay (reception staff and their private airport transfer driver were exceptionally kind and helpful with our very delayed flight arrival). We booked a refurbished room and I asked if possible for a top (5th floor) room with good views and this is exactly what we were given. A quiet, well equipped, modern room with wet room, excellent housekeeping and a decent sized balcony with really calming garden and distant sea views. As the building is set into the hill, the fifth floor leads straight out to the pool and gardens and I would thoroughly recommend this position. I believe some of the “classic” rooms on the lower floors that are yet to be refurbished may be more dated than we’d personally prefer. The hotel building itself is full of character, it has a beautiful terrace for breakfast and evening tapas with stunning village and sea views and a really delightful pool area surrounded by calm, shadey gardens and the mountains. The pool is a really decent size for swimming and despite being August we pretty much always got a good spot even if we’d been out for the day. Good little poolside restaurant and excellent drinks service, very friendly, proper old school service which was repeated throughout the hotel. I chose Es Moli for the setting and position near Deia, (it’s a very pleasant, steady 10 minute walk into the village along an easy roadside boardwalk which my daughter and I felt very safe using both by day and to and from dinner in the village). We also love the sea so Muleta, their private cove really appealed. This proved to be even better than we hoped. A shuttle bus provides s very scenic drive through Deia towards Soller and then down to the cove which is absolutely stunning. Just for hotel guests, there are sun beds on various levels and a ladder into the sea. The water was absolutely beautiful, I could have swum there all day. You can borrow snorkels and masks and there is a very sweet cafe restaurant which is very low key but offered good drinks and we enjoyed great little lunches there, grilled squid, calamari, fish cakes and local wine, very good value and again great, friendly service. Deia and the surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful but in the height of August are understandably extremely busy. I think Es Moli and it’s private cove offer a real haven away from the crowds, the cove in particular giving a very special and more exclusive experience than the star rating and price point of the hotel suggest. You can get out and about when you want to and retreat for a bit of peace when you need to. We will definitely stay again to explore more of the island.
